Today, Sahil Gujral is the founder of WeHit, a rapidly growing marketing and growth agency that has served 50+ brands, managed ₹50+ crore in advertising spend, and scaled to an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of ₹3 crore+, all while operating with a lean 15+ in-house member team. The success, however, is the result of years of deliberate effort rather than sudden momentum.

Learning Before Earning

Sahil’s entrepreneurial journey began in 2020, when he invested in his first marketing course and started freelancing. His early breakthrough came with two clients, collectively earning ₹18,000 per month. Instead of chasing scale, he focused on mastering fundamentals—client needs, execution quality, and real business outcomes.

His commitment soon led one of his freelance clients to offer him a full-time role at a marketing agency, which Sahil accepted as a hands-on learning opportunity. The role allowed him to gain practical exposure to campaign execution, client management, and agency operations beyond theory.

Corporate Experience and Global Exposure

Sahil quickly stood out in the agency ecosystem through ownership and results. He later joined a Dubai-based marketing agency, working on international accounts and high-budget campaigns. This experience exposed him to global processes, structured systems, and scalable growth frameworks, significantly shaping his understanding of how businesses grow sustainably.

Even while employed full-time, Sahil was quietly building the foundation of his own venture.

The Birth of WeHit

Using evenings and weekends, Sahil began developing WeHit as a side initiative with a clear philosophy: brands don’t need noise—they need measurable results. In 2022, with early traction and systems in place, he made the calculated decision to leave his job and build WeHit full-time.

The transition was intentional. Rather than aggressive expansion, Sahil focused on building strong delivery systems, client trust, and a reliable team.

Scaling with Substance

Under Sahil’s leadership, WeHit evolved into a structured growth agency known for performance-driven storytelling, founder-led brand positioning, and conversion-focused strategies. The agency has since:

  • Served over 50 brands
  • Handled ₹50+ crore in ad spends across major platforms
  • Built a 15+ member in-house team
  • Scaled to ₹3 crore+ ARR

WeHit’s growth has been bootstrapped and sustainable, driven by execution, operational discipline, and long-term client relationships.

Building Authority Beyond Business

Beyond agency operations, Sahil has focused on building credibility through content and conversation. He hosts the SpellOut podcast and YouTube channel, where he engages in candid discussions with founders, creators, and operators.

SpellOut has generated 30+ million views across social media platforms, with 15,000+ YouTube subscribers and counting, and 10,000+ followers across platforms. The platform reflects Sahil’s approach of documenting real experiences rather than projecting curated success.

Milestones at 25

At the age of 25, Sahil achieved several significant personal and professional milestones. In the same year, he built his own home and purchased his first car, reflecting a level of stability earned through consistent effort and disciplined execution.

His journey also came full circle when IP University, his alma mater, invited him to conduct a session on performance marketing, followed by an invitation from a corporate organisation to train their employees, recognising his hands-on experience and business understanding.

Beyond Titles

While marketing has been a core skill in Sahil’s journey, he positions himself as an entrepreneur and business owner, focused on building sustainable ventures rather than chasing job titles. His story highlights the power of long-term thinking, real-world learning, and disciplined execution.

From earning ₹18,000 a month as a freelancer to building a multi-crore business ecosystem, Sahil Gujral’s journey reflects what is possible when learning meets consistent action.
