The group was initially established in 1964 by Mahendrakumar Jhaveri. Mahendra’s son Ketan joined the group in 1993. Mahendrakumar Jhaveri who started the life insurance services business in 1964 at Mumbai came to Gujarat and continued his business in Gujarat as well. Later the entire family joined him in business. As they say, the rest is history.
