Cochin, October 04, 2021: The Hyderabad based 24 years old leading Life-Saving Medicine Distribution Company, Medihauxe Pharma Pvt. Ltd expands its operations to Kerala. It is setting up the state of the art Life-saving medicine facility at Cochin at a cost of Rs 10crore.
Medihauxe Pharma with a turnover of INR 200 crore has offices two each in Telangana (two in Hyderabad), Andhra Pradesh(Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam). Now the new facility is coming up at Kochi. It will be inaugurated on 7th October. It also plans to expand to other states in near future.
The facility at Kochin has a walk-in cold room maintaining a temperature of 2-8 degrees and this temperature is monitored with data loggers. The cool room temperature is maintained at less than 25 degrees throughout the year as most of the medicines are temperature sensitive. It is backed up by an uninterrupted power supply. The validation of cold rooms is done every year by the authorities. In case the temperature fluctuates in the cold rooms it is automatically brought to the notice of authorized people by way of SMS alert and with the V track app.
The facility has steel equipment to hold the stock in the cold rooms, which is highly appreciated by the industry. It is so clean and hygienic, as it gets cleaned up every 3-4hours.
