New Delhi, August 2026: The journey which started with a designer’s fascination towards Indian fashion designs and a small room at home has now evolved to form the brand called Shobika Bhandari which is known for its exquisite craftsmanship and detailed hand embroidery along with crystal and Swarovski decorations. Started by Shobika Bhandari herself, this brand is unique as it combines the traditional techniques of Indian craftsmanship along with modern day designs.
Shobika’s love for fashion took a turn ten years ago when she started showing her interest in the world of fashion in India. A student of Welham’s World School and Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, she sharpened her creativity through fashion designing and interior designing courses. Finally, her journey as a consumer to that of a designer culminated into the formation of her own brand around seven years ago.

Early brand history begins with a small home setup. As the appreciation of the brand designs increased, it slowly turned into a recognizable couture and occasion wear brand. The philosophy of the brand includes exquisite details in each piece of clothing, as all clothes are marked by handwork, embellishments and finishings.

Another important milestone achieved by the label is the opening of the flagship store of the brand in Defence Colony, New Delhi, in September 2025. This is a result of how the label has grown from a simple home-based label to one of the more established ones in India’s luxury fashion sector.
