From Entrepreneurship to English Learning
Gurkirat Singh, who was born and raised in Delhi, began his entrepreneurial journey after completing his engineering degree in 2014. He founded BrahmLife.com, a startup focused on helping people find contentment, while also pursuing a side job.
His professional journey subsequently took him through digital marketing and technology-focused businesses. Following guidance from a vice president at DDB Mudra Group, Singh pursued a certificate course in digital marketing from Google. He later gained experience with an Australia-based startup and Los Angeles-based digital marketing agency Coalition Technologies.
After taking a career break, Singh continued his entrepreneurial journey and received recognition for his work through several awards from a UK-based awards agency, including Best Mental Health Support Services in 2023, Life Coaching Excellence in 2024 and Best Eastern Spiritual Organization in 2026.
He subsequently worked as a communication coach at PlanetSpark, where his experience teaching students helped shape the idea for Spoken English Pro.
Building on Practical Teaching Insights
The foundation of Spoken English Pro comes from Singh’s personal experiences learning English during his college years, alongside his subsequent experience teaching students.
According to Singh, these experiences highlighted the importance of simple and accessible teaching methods. Positive feedback from students during his time as a communication coach encouraged him to develop an independent platform focused specifically on English communication.
